Hi, I’m LaTisha D. Dismuke
Entrepreneur, Private Chef, Caterer, Culinary Arts Teacher and Entertainer are the primary hats she likes to juggle these days. LaTisha cultivated her passion for Cooking and the Arts as a young girl. She took every opportunity to learn new recipes with her Grandmother and anyone else that allowed her to join them in the kitchen. She also enjoyed entertaining at family gatherings, in church, in school, or hanging out with friends. Knowing how laughter helped her get through the hard times she always shared her favorite medicine, comedic relief, with others. Through the years her chef skills continued to blossom, and her passion for creating Palate Masterpieces evolved into A Taste of Jazz.
In 2015 A Taste of Jazz was born as LaTisha decided she’d found a creative outlet to infuse her passion for delicious food and multi-facetted entertainment. She set out to be a private chef and soloist entertainer for private dinner parties. God’s plan was much more than she’d considered. The word quickly spread about her exceptional execution of delightful dining and presentations from start to finish.
A Taste of Jazz has been highly successful as LaTisha was called upon to cook for American R&B singer-songwriter and pianist, Vivian Green. She also assisted as a Sous Chef/intern for Chef Delilah (personal chef to Oprah Winfrey).
LaTisha continues to wow her growing following with innovative presentations and special renditions of soulful dishes infused with international flavors.

We ignite your appetite for a taste of jazz through the dining experience and enhance it with live musical performances that leave our guest yearning for another Taste of Jazz!
